Impact rubber
Energizer is launching Impact Rubber - the new impact resistanttorch with heavy duty rubber body. Ideal for plumbing and wet areas. Designed for easy separation and recycling.
New technology
Incandescent Krypton KPR 104 and 102 lamps used in the previous range have a life span of 15 hours. This new revision uses the Nichia 5mm LED NSPW 500 GS to give a life span of 8,000hours. To achieve 8,000 hours life span the incandescent would need to be replaced 533 times.
Reduced size and material
The new Impact Rubber lights use AA and AAA battery cells. This has enabled us to reduce the size, weight and material used in the design.
Recycling
Energizer has a long-standing commitment to preserving the environment and is continually taking proactive steps to minimize the impact of our products and manufacturing processes on the environment.
The new rubber light is designed for easy separation and recycling, resulting in reduced material waste.
Half cardboard blister has been chosen for new rubber lights. This allows very easy material separation and recycling. This sustainable solution is further enhanced by the use of smaller header cards and a design aimed at reducing the overall amount of material and adhesives used.
