Be Safe and Be Seen with these tips

• Always plan your route. Choose the most well-lit, direct way with the least street crossings
• Make sure that your child can see and is seen on the way home. Why not get an Energizer Kids Headlight LED or some Energizer Kids Glow Sticks which have a lanyard for attachment to clothing or rucksacks
• Stay away from parks, fields, waste ground and other places where there aren't many people around
• For older children, make sure they are never travelling home alone at night and that you know who they are with, for example a neighbour, friend or sibling
• If an older child is permitted to cycle at night, always make sure that they wear reflective clothing or materials and that they only ride in areas that are familiar and on streets that are brightly lit with lots of people around.
